Since we are learning to post pictures, I thought I should share this picture of a tiny monkey whose mother left it so it turned to a dove for love, and the dove gave it all the affection it desired, so the monkey and the dove lived together happily ever after. True story.

I am going to admit something here. I sometimes really like to peruse cute overload (www.cuteoverload.com) and icanhascheezburger.com. Both sites specialize in a version of schmaltz that is both endearing and kind of sickening. They work best if you are having a bad day.

There is just something about cross-species "families," like the giant tortoise and the baby hippo. Or Koko and her kittens.
Nice find. Good image to have in the quiver for those days when things don't seem to be going as planned.
